- First of all, put 2 tsp oil in a large vessel, add 1/2 tsp mustard, a pinch of asafoetida and some curry leaves and fry it!

- After this add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and fry well for 40 seconds.

After this add 2 boiled mashed potatoes, and 1/4th salt.

- Turn off the gas and add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the potatoes.

Mix all the ingredients well once again with the help of a spoon, now our potato mixture is ready, keep it aside.

After this add 1 tbsp flour, 3/4 cup gram flour,1/4 tsp chili powder, 1/4th turmeric powder, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp baking soda and 1 pinch of asafoetida to make the batter. Get ready

Add 1/4th of the water and knead the batter well so that it becomes soft and pliable, take care that no lumps remain in the batter.

Now make round ball shaped balls of the potato mixture, you can make it a little flat apart from the round shape!
- Now dip the potato balls in the gram flour batter that was made.

Now put a pan on the gas and put oil in it and deep fry the potato balls in it till it becomes light brown!

Now cover the fried vada by placing it on a newspaper so that the oil which has been absorbed by the vada comes out of the vada.

Now after turning off the flame, roast the green chillies in the same hot oil, roasting them carefully, taking care that the oil should not spill here and there while roasting the chillies!

When you see little blisters on the chillies, then stir the green chillies, when the chillies are fried well and become a little brown, then take them off on the newspaper and cover them with newspaper so that the extra oil comes out of the chillies!

Now add 2 tbsp of water to the remaining gram flour batter, and prepare churan by putting it in hot oil!
Vada Pav Recipe Combination
- Now cut the pav with the help of a knife, but do not cut completely, leave a little part of the pav attached to one side!

Apply 1/2 tsp tamarind chutney, 1/2 tsp green chutney and 1/2 tsp garlic chutney on one side of the pav!

Put the prepared vada in the middle of the pav and keep the prepared crumble in the pav and put the fried chillies on the pav!

Lemon juice - 1 tbsp

Gram flour - 3/4 cup
Rice flour - 1 tbsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Oil - for deep frying
